HVACLoadCalc (hvac-load-calc.com) is a free calculator site owned by Jeremy Panasuk, New Auburn, Wisconsin. It is built to collect as little information as possible.

Information the site collects

The calculators run entirely in your browser. assets/app.js reads the values you enter — square footage, ceiling height, windows, sun, insulation, and the related heating and cooling inputs — and calculates the result on the page. Those values are not transmitted to or stored on a server. The site does not require accounts and does not collect names, emails, or personal profiles through the calculator.

Advertising

This site does not use Google AdSense or other display advertising.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links, including to Amazon.com (Amazon Associates program). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, the site may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links do not change the sizing math.

The homepage loads assets/monetization.js, which fills Amazon links from the calculator result. If you dismiss the Amazon bar, that script stores one flag in your browser's sessionStorage (amzStickyDismissed). The flag stays on your device for that browser session and is not sent to a server.

The homepage and the topic map load assets/magnet-cta.js, which adds a link to the printable BTU chart and a link to a TikTok profile. That script does not store or transmit data.

Analytics & cookies

This site does not run its own analytics and does not set its own tracking cookies. If you follow a link to Amazon or TikTok, that site may set cookies under its own policy. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
